The rain drums relentlessly on the wall,
Awakening in a dim, quiet house.
Nothing stirs; there is a perfect vacuum.
My initial thought was of you.
Then I pondered, "Which day is it?"
I need to pay this month's rent.
It will grant me one more month of life.
Preparing coffee and ordering oat milk,
Their attitude suffers from telemetrosis,
A new disease caused by an overdose of data
Ah, the noteworthy news from yesterday:
We have attained an average 1.5°C warming in 2023!
So fantastic! I hope in a few years, we destroy ourselves.
The Earth will find solace and be healed from her affliction
Named Human.
