I was a pelican

While the murmuring dark throats replicate themselves,
all fruits from their intellect look like a red-lush apple.
Who does want to eat apples? is this an absurd paradise?
What level of depravity is that where we are?
Is there any bright somewhere? Are there hopes?
Why do people still believe similar lies of similar heartlessness?
Our cultural development may resemble an onion
with layers and scales.
Our thousands of absurdities; 

Many humans believe they have an exclusive
and complete entitlement to utilize the entire planet as their dominion.
I can't see any fundamental right for this; no deity has ever granted us this privilege. 
I've never comprehended how people think of Earth as their private garden.

All I'm hoping for is a touch more mercy
this is simply my desire, nothing more
yeah

Even as this was being written, wars persisted,
and countless people may have lost their lives.
The drive to make a profit continues as I write these words.
While I am writing this,
the cruel practice of contemporary slavery persists.
As I jot down these words,
political tyrants are enjoying their privileges
while billions are being deceived by their propaganda.

As I type this, thousands of animals are being slayed,
sliced, and prepped for human consumption.
It was foolish of me to forget that
you feel entitled to consume them
with a sense of divine authority. So, you believe:
As soon as a human was created,
God granted them the right to purchase hamburgers.
Is this correct? 

Ok, anyway. These were just examples from this nightmare.
I have more.

It is unfortunate to see significant companies
attempting to masquerade as environmentally
conscious for the sake of PR. They make similar
propaganda that is used by politicians or religious;
only their goals are different
So they do greenwashing, greenlighting,
All these are like simple lies, but we should call these
"marketing communications". Is it sad enough?
Do you really think
Ogle Go, Anzoma, Stormific or Lappe cares about the environment?
In your opinion,
are Lemon box XI, Hells, and PB concerned about the planet?

I would like to know,
What language tricks will marketers and PR professionals use
when our grandchildren lack access to clean water
and heatwaves exceeding 60 degrees Celsius? When faced with
the grim reality of our offspring's fate due to environmental issues,
will marketing communication and PR attempt to deflect
blame onto the poor or otherworldly beings?
I have a feeling they'll try to blame someone else.
Or is this the past now?

Who cares? We have time. We need money.
We need money. More money. More profit.
Do we still have about 30 years? Or 20?
Or is everything the past now?
Most of us don't care. They want the new TV series 
and the latest model of their favourite products.
But, there is a Tuesday afternoon.

Today morning I was a pelican,
and I was sitting on the top of the chimney.
I did not cry. Birds cannot cry.
The sky is filled with mixed patterns of aeroplane vapour trails and clouds.
I saw you waving from inside as I flew into the kitchen window.
Using my wings, I could seize kitchen tools,
Being a pelican brought me joy.
I made coffee for us,
hoping to ignore reality.
You bestowed upon me the name "Meemee"
told me that it would be "Mimi" in Hungarian,
and after this, I could speak. You told me
"Reading news makes me feel sick."
I answered.
"You are right. I am just a pelican
I shouldn't be thinking so much because I am silly."
We sat at the kitchen table and enjoyed the view of the sky.
