I'm still surprised at the true level of foolishness in this society

Most people are so shallow and consumer-obsessed
The internet made everything worst
Fools have found each other
Watching social media constantly
Watching the latest superhero film
Chattering about sports events
Buying brands
I'm still amazed at the real extent of stupidity in this civilization
It's much more than sociology reports acknowledge
Idiots are everywhere
Education levels don't make too much of a difference
Highly educated fools are everywhere
They just consume more and more and more
Politicians perform for this massive audience
Media targets this enormous crowd
Global companies feed them trashy plastic products
Religions adore them as well
And this is why our planet looks the way it does
Because stupidity is global, and it's spreading
The internet is the perfect tool for connecting fools
Trash content is becoming more and more dumbed down
Now, people can focus for no more than 2 seconds?
They've lost the ability to grasp even slightly complex text
They demand overly simple messages
Short, punchy slogans
And now, only images...
And it's only getting worse.
I'm still astonished by the real depth of stupidity in this civilization
But I should not be.
