Olga Carolina Rama (a Carol Rama nevet használta művészként) az egyik kedvenc képzőművészem, teljesen autodidakta módon fejlesztette a tudását és az emberi szexualitás legmélyebb bugyrait próbálta feltárni. Olaszországban született, az apja öngyilkos lett gyerekkorában. Bár voltak kiállításai, 1980-ig szinte teljesen ismeretlen volt, ekkor 62 évesen volt az első olyan kiállítása amit Lea Vergine kurátor hozott össze és ekkor kapta meg a megérdemelt figyelmet. Fiatalon főleg portrékat festett, később a női nemiség és szexualitás lett a fő támája, 1960-tól gumit (autó és bicikligumit) kezdett használni mint művészi alapanyagot, 2003-ban megkapta a velencei biennálé aranyfokozatú díját.
