jegyzet magamnak: Lois Dodd 1927-ben született Montclair-ban, New Jersey-ben, galériát alapított (Tanager Gallery), de elsősorban képzőművész. Azért foglalkozok vele, mert a művészete nem nyilvánvaló (nem árulkodó_????) és kevés benne az a fajta koncepció, ami nagyon árulkodó tud lenni, nagyon sok belemegyarázás után persze bármi lehetséges és bármilyen elmélet előállítható, de ez nem érdekel. Még aktívan alkot, főleg tájképeket és épület-csendéleteket fest.
